Jirrbal Elder - Lillian Freeman is one of the first to sign the National First Nations Dingo Declaration.

A historical moment was made at the National Inaugural First Nations Dingo Forum.

The creation of the first of it's kind a National First Nations' Dingo Declaration.

A powerful tool for First Nations people to lobby governments to include them in the decision making processes surrounding Dingo Management in Australia.

Girringun Aboriginal Corporation worked hard to launch the National First Nations Dingo Forum.  

Girringun have been operating as a not for profit land and sea organisation for over 30 years.

They have within those 30 years created strong partnerships with government and non-government stakeholders which has enabled them to provide a much needed service to their 9 Traditional Owner Groups.

They will now move forward through their IPA (Indigenous Protected Areas) to support the Dingo Monitoring Project to collate data on Dingoes wihtin their local regions.

Over 20 First Nations Groups from across Australia participated in the creation and signing of the 'National First Nations Dingo Declaration"!

Dingo Culture founder - Sonya Takau played a pivotal role in the planning and implementing of the first ever "National Inaugural First Nations Dingo Forum".  The declaration symbolises that Aboriginal Voice in advocating for the protection of the Dingo - A Culturally Significant Totem Animal.
